We use a power washer with the capability to apply eight (8) gallons of water per minute (GPM) and 4,000 pounds of pressure per square inch (PSI).

Do you use the homeowner’s water as part of the cleaning process?

Yes. We bring a 250-gallon tank and refill it as needed from the homeowner’s outdoor spigots.

What do I need to do as a homeowner prior to Highground’s visit?

First, inform our technician of the areas you would like pressure washed so that we can provide a comprehensive and reliable quote to you. On the day of service, please ensure pets are inside the home, provide gate codes if needed, inform our technician of anything fragile that we need to move prior to the work beginning, and place old towels down in thresholds of any exterior doors leading to the area being pressure washed (as water and debris may leak under doors).

How long will the job take?

After a Highground technician consults with a homeowner, we can provide an approximate length of time required to complete the job based upon the total square footage and volume of organic material needing removal.

What should I expect as a homeowner from Highground in terms of job cleanup before you leave my property?

After pressure washing is completed, all cleaned areas will be rinsed off as well. In addition, all items that were moved before beginning the job will be returned to their place.

Do you use chemicals? If yes, which ones?

Highly pressurized water alone is used for most jobs. If a chemical is needed for areas with greater organic material buildup, that topic will be discussed in advance with the homeowner. The chemical treatment that we most commonly use is a non-toxic type of bleach.
